Don't forget that East Beach is Galveston's dead end and traffic can be tough. So if you can, carpool and try to get in before lunch time.
Btw, we don't set or control parking prices but you should know that parking is $15 cash.
Traffic control is managed through Galveston P.D. and the Galveston Parks Department. They will make decisions on flow of traffic and parking coming in and out of the event.

Over the past thirty years we have only had to reschedule twice. Whenever we get a normal rain or pop up shower, it gets pushed away from the shoreline and into town. Crazy weather patterns can say otherwis as you well know. Still, even after all of these years: Knock on wood, it has worked out for us.
See you at the event!
