Pink Dolphin Monument (Closed Permanently)
Celebrate gender and LGBTQ communities with a lovable dolphin statue.
Located on Galveston Island, the Pink Dolphin Monument is dedicated to celebrating gender and sexual minority communities. The monument was carved with red sandstone from the Texas coast, the remaining pieces of the boulder were formed into small triangles and were buried at sites all over the island.
